裸食是完整、天然、未經加工、低於攝氏45度處理的食物,它是“活的食物”富含營養,吃裸食的時候,你以最天然的形式攝取維他命、酵素、與礦物質。雖然熱量很高,但食物卻是身體能立刻辯識、分解並吸收的型態。

這些天然、無添加、且健康的食物,將所承載的能量在體內發送,清理消化系統、尤其能幫助清理結腸裡殘存的宿便與有毒廢物,那些都會導致體重增加或疾病。

Raw food is whole, natural, unprocessed and not heated above 45 degrees celcius so it is "alive" with nutrition. When you eat raw food, you are eating vitamins, enzymes and minerals in their most natural forms. Though high in calories, they are food forms that the body immediately recognizes and knows how to break down and absorb.

These natural, whole and healthy foods are then the vehicles that distribute energy within the body and sweep the digestive system and especially the colon clean of debris, or toxic waste, the accumulation of which leads to weight gain and disease.

Eating raw food allows the comfort of never having to worry about calories and brings the peace of mind that your body is going to be rejuvenated and re-energized by that natural food source and that you are going to increase your energy, revitalize your mind and lower your risk of disease.

People focus on the calories in food instead of the ingredients themselves. This is wrong. Foods that are low in calories are not always easily absorbed and integrated within the digestive system. Foods that are high in calories, but are a natural, whole food source, are easy for your digestive system to break down.

"Low-fat", "no-fat", and "low calorie" foods are foods that reach you in an unnatural state. They have been chemically manipulated and often industrially processed and offer a misleading idea of their nutritional value. Usually, they do more damage to your body than good.

Is the body able to absorb unnatural foods? No. If it is unable to absorb these unnatural food sources, it turns them into waste. Remember, the accumulation of waste in the body leads to weight gain and disease.

What does dehydrating food have to do with the raw food lifestyle? By dehydrating foods under 45 degrees celcius, the food is still raw with most of its enzymes, vitamins and minerals intact. Dehydrating foods prevents them from spoiling too fast, giving your raw and healthy food a longer shelf life and ultimately saving you time in preparation. Some raw foods can last a few weeks or months if dehydrated and stored properly.
